Well written. ANd once again, I highly recommend the (ever dwindling) independant news sources which don't answer to capitalist-only-what-can-we-sell-as-news values, such as John Pilger and co.
If I scroll up and down really fast it seems like I am watching the code for the matrix!....spooky... but if I was ebert I would give you a thumbs up.....if I was roeper I might give you a thumbs down but, mostly because I would be bitter :P

Para1 3rd sentence "more and more superficial elements begin to effect" (correction: it's affect) Para1 last sentence seems a bit choppy, especially this phrase: "and as a result the value of journalism as a whole is on a sharp decline." Perhaps: and as a result, the value of the whole concept of journalism is in sharp decline.
The other two paragraphs seems smooth, and I do not detect any errors. More to come.
Never met ya but Random surfing to procrastinate helped for once, i'm writing a 10pager on Jayson Blair . What is the citation for "Sneer When You Say "Journalist"
Hi! Thanks for reading it! The article was in an issue of the Los Angeles Times, and if you search on google, you can probably find it online. If not, here is how I cited the source: D’Antonio, Michael. “Sneer When You Say ‘Journalist.’” Los Angeles Times. 24 August 2003. Sunday ed.: I20.
