I had a toy dog named If-If when I was the same age. He could help solve all my problems and the kids at school couldn't bother me when I was safe in my room with him. God I miss that dog and I'm still looking for his replacement. My kingdom for a little red stuffed dog.

I guess - we never give up the search for that safe feeling...rough ol' world sometimes....and those little stuffed guardians....they were there no matter what...kids....and adults...just need that sometimes.
