IT'S A GIRL!!!!

Feb 29, 2012 20:21

Well the news just came in that the puppies have been born.  Out of two litters, they ended up with 11 pups; 9 girls and 2 boys.  So, alas, we will not be getting a male dog, we'll be getting a female.

Doesn't really matter to me, really, we'll love her just as much.  But now we have to come up with a name.  We had a boy-dog name already picked out ( Read more... )

aaawww... so cute.

how big do these dogs get again??

Miss Ellie is good, (yes, i'm old enough to remember THAT!)

Maya makes me think of Space: 1999... and i didn't care for that particular character...

Maddy is my niece's name so... yeah... nope. lol

i say go with Stella... because i like your reason!! LOL

"mentally unstable"... just one of the reasons i adore you, my friend.

BIG! REAL BIG. it's hard to believe that picture is of a little one that's only a day old. Her eyes aren't even open yet and she's the same size as what my sister-in-law's lab was when she came home. They get to be between 120 - 150 pounds. so yep.... BIG

I like Miss Ellie too. But I think my second choice is Nessa. Don't know why, I just think it's a really pretty name for a dog.

Maybe I should just let my neighbour, Connie, choose. She's the one that has to listen to me yell at the dog 50 times / day so..... LOLs, not really 50 times / day but you get my drift.
Kinda like when my husband and I were trying to decide if we wanted to keep our christmas lights on 'solid' or 'blinking'. I asked Connie to decide cuz, well, she's the one that has to look at them all night.... *shakes head*.... yep, definitely unstable.

Some Big dogs make me nervous, but only if I don't know them. I wanted a big dog, but I also did my homework to be certain that we got a breed that are known for their temperament.

These dogs are big teddy bears.

LOLs.... yep, I think I'm gonna have to go with Stella. Unfortunately, I don't have an exclusive vote so I have to campaign for it and get the rest of the crew to agree.

Yep. Isn't she gorgeous?

We're not 100% sure if we'll get the Landseer or the all Black yet. The breeder has another client in line before us who gets to pick first... but really, either way, they are such beautiful dogs it doesn't really matter.

I agree, Stella is a great name.

And the pup is enormous already!

Stella is one of my favorite names. I had a kitten named Stella. I didn't get to keep her, but I've had my one and only blurry pic of her framed on my desk for 12 years. :)

Callie was my little princess kitty. Callie-Wallie was her nickname. Very feminine.

But Miss Ellie is cute too! Especially with Dallas 'coming back' this summer. (Yeah, I'm excited!)

Oh I know! I'm campaigning really hard for it but, alas, hubby doesn't like it very much. I think we might have to settle on either Nessa, or Miss Ellie....

Still negotiating though, so you never know.
