If it's Tuesday, there must be kittens

Today and last week on Tuesday I went in to San Francisco to volunteer at the SFSPCA's Macy's Christmas windows. Which basically means that the SFSPCA puts kittens in holiday themed windows and I stand out front with a donation box. It's remarkably fun. I don't have to ask anyone for money. KITTENS! Who doesn't love kittens? Even (former) Long-suffering Roommate, who *hates* cats, loves kittens! I'm happy to hear that some of the folks cooing over the wee kitties donated; and I hope some of those kitties find forever homes because of the Macy's windows.

How long will the SFSPCA be doing the windows? I want to send my sister over to them when she's out there.

Also: *totally* agree on the Scion. Blech.

I'm wicked allergic to cats, so the windows are kind of perfect. I get to enjoy the cute, but don't have to breathe the air.

The windows are up until January 3 every day except Christmas day. It's the Macy's at Union Square in SF.

It's been really great. At least some good is coming from me not having a job. :)

If I wasn't so allergic, I'd bring one home in a heartbeat. But it really is impossible to feel bad when surrounded by kittens.
