Visiting El Paso is not very thrilling. There are neat things a few hours away (not south! there's murder to the south of us) but El Paso itself pretty much only has the bonus of being warm. I've never been to New York City... (We drove through upstate New York on my way to Nantucket last summer - very pretty.)
