For those of you who don't live in btown anymore (i.e. pretty much all), we had a ridiculous thunderstorm last night. I went to Little 500 for the first time this year. It was...anticlimactic. Whitney and I went together and cheered for the Cutters, since our mutual friend Laura is dating one of the Cutter riders. I just saw Obama. Or rather I saw several vehicles, one of which contained Obama. It was a whole big motorcade with police motorcycles, police cars, SUVs, and two big tour buses. There was a rumor that he would show up at the Women's Little 500.

Sweeney Todd was quite enjoyable...although a little too heavy on the Tim Burton for my tastes. Now I have a very strong urge to see it live. For those of you who have seen both- was the movie true enough to the musical?
