I know, I know, I say I am going to start posting and I never do. Guess what? Life gets in the way. Things have been crazy these past few years. Now I am up in Seattle at WEXLEY (holy shit, literally... plug here for wexley via www.wexley.com or simply look us up on you tube bitches!) Seattle is very nice. I'm really enjoying it up here, other than ( Read more... )

yeah leaving university is freaking crazy. I think I would pay money to be back in school. Although, the place I am interning isn't that diferent from being in school. Maybe because it has school in the title. What aaaaaare you doing these days Douglas? I do miss you. You'll have to come up here some weekend and I'll take ya around. ;)

I didn't quite understand your latest post other than something sounds horribly wrong with you. Sum it up for me so I don't have to worry until you tell me.

Hm, haven't yet been to the gay IHOP, but I seemed to get that reaction at three of the five Starbucks down the street.

well granted I was drunk at 3am, but they were still very less than thrilled with my guest and I. My guest because she kept being vulgar, and me because I made someone's boyfriend jealous. Not on purpose mind you, I was just being polite.

Seattlites just don't have the same "go with the flow" laid back mentality that us Oregonians do. Everyone scowls here. I think the coffee makes you brood(y)(-ing).

Wow, Seattle? Go you!

I kept wondering if I'd see you randomly around campus this year, but I guess not. Good to hear you're doing well.

Glad you made it.
Enjoy Seattle and do a fancy jig in the rain for me.
Take care.

Busy is good! Much better than unemployed and doing nothing, to be sure.

What a great place to intern for... I think you'll learn a lot and enjoy yourself.

You living in town or the 'burbs?

I'm living in Fremont, right next to the Troll under the bridge. I really love it here and I am totally psyched to be at the Wex.
So what's been going on with you boy? I sent you email long ago and you never wrote me back! Bitch.
I work downtown though, well on the weekends. I never seem to have time to kick it at Pikes. And they even have Dim Sum, you'd think I would be able to make it down.
Unemployed and doing nothing? You still writing?

That troll could use some company. Poor fella. Needs some lovin'.

Hey now, we managed to email back and forth like 2 or 3 times in a row! That's like, ass-tronomical!

These days, my writing is mostly scribbles, scratches, notes and passages. I simply haven't the time to sit down and compile. I've taken to carrying a little notebook & pencil around everywhere I go so I can jot down the good ideas as they come. You know how it is, the good ones invariably come when your hands are full or you're installing cybernetic eyes or baking cookies. This way, I don't have to scramble to find a pen and paper (both are never in the same place at the same time).

I'm definitely not unemployed and doing nothing though.. right now I've got 18 credits and a 20-hr a week job plus refereeing season is starting again. Today is my first day off since school started 4 weeks ago, but only because I had a doctor and a dentist appointment. You can read a little more about that in recent posts in my LJ if y'like.

What keeps you so busy?

Man don't get me started on busy. This internship is whack yo. We're there from 9 to 630, sometimes 8 sometimes 3am. Plus I work weekends at a chocolate shop downtown, 16 hrs. So, I don't have a single day off. It's really starting to get to me. And to top it off, I don't know anyone or have time to meet anyone. I am going crazy by myself or just crazy in general. Yes. But hopefully it will settle down, i'll get hired (I said hopefully) and then I can have the weekend. Phew. It's kind of like being in school all over again, except that I can't skip. Damn. But I get in my episode of Scrubs every night, so I can't complain.
What's with the leg shots? Everyone seems to be breaking apart.
