I woke up and my back was killing me. I really hope I can sleep and wake up without pain when staying at campgrounds. We stopped at a bakery on our way out and started towards Burg Eltz and COchem. There are certain things you come to appreciate while in Europe. Ice, free refills, laundry and especially stores and fast food on every corner. The ride to Trier was pretty quick and easy. The nice thing about going along both the Rhine and Mosel so far is that we've basically downstream with the currents meaning we've been going slightly downhill the entire time. We threw our jeans back in the dryer for another half hour this morning and got them almost completely dry. Unfortunately all of my socks and the other things I washed are still a little soggy. The ride into Fussen was fairly quick, probably about 35 km. We stayed at the guesthouse until almost 11 and stopped at a grocery store for a picnic lunch down the road. From Bad Tolz we headed out along the radweg towards Tergensee. The route runs north along the lake but again we took a wrong turn and went down the length of it into town.
