So I just got an odd call here at work.

Frankie: Good afternoon (insert name of Teh Law Firm)

Caller: Do you realize what you've done to me?

Frankie: . . . pardon?

I used to get calls just like that when I worked for the newspaper. I worked in the circulation department, but I got hundreds of ranting calls like that in the 15 years I worked there. I learned quickly to enjoy them...otherwise, I would have gone crazy!

There's a city number that's one digit off of the cable-TV company number, and sometimes it rings through to the library. We get calls like, "Hello, (Name of Library), how can I help you?" "I've already tried unplugging my cable box!!!!" Although since it's the cable company, I can't really blame the people from sounding unhinged.
