By now I'm sure everyone who wants to has seen the trailer for Deathly Hallows. I'm excited. This looks like it's going to be the closest to canon of any of them.

It took two days and some very sore shoulders and arms, but the backsplash is done.

Tales from Camp
My office is the one that fields questions from customers and parents concerning camp. We get some really weird calls. Now that I'm the 'sorting hat' for the camp, it's upped my ante of weird calls.

By now you know what my summers are like, what with Camp, garden and throw kitchen renovations in to the mix, so you're not surprised at the lack of entries into my journal (not that I'm that good at it to begin with). *how's that for a run-on sentence?*

The fruits of his labor
Hubby's idea this year was a 'small' garden, so as not to interfer too much with kitchen renovation time. So he planted only about half the plants this year.

A Quiet Day
We finished our fifth weekend of Miracle Worker last night. The man who had played Captain Keller for eight years was not able to play the role this year. About the time we began rehearsals his kidneys began to fail. He went down hill fast. Last night we were told he was in intensive care and about 4 AM this morning he passed away.
