Loved it. Seriously loved it, and I've been a fan of the franchise since I was a little kid and my mom and I watched it together. SO yeah, much happiness there. Of course now I'm fighting off the urge to go hunt for Spock fanfic.

Hey all! Sorry, I've been caught up a bit in life at the moment. :-P Moved back into the House of the COG this past Saturday and am slowly setting everything to rights again. Today is Talk Like Shakespeare Day here in Chicago.

Just another reason I love this city. . .

I took off work yesterday as Mrs. PNOG took a fall in the bathroom on Tuesday night. COG and I were in the emergency room with her until about 4am. Thank Bob she's fine, though. Slight crack on her pelvis and a bit of a bone chip, but the osteopath(?) looked at her today and said she should be fine soon. Considering how bad her osteoporosis is ( Read more... )

I hate moving. I really and truly do. I'm happy, as I am moving back in with the COG and things truly seem to be going well, but still. Hate moving. It's just a reminder of all the useless crap I have. . .and the plethora of books ( Read more... )

Sorry I've not been here in over a week now. I've not looked or posted or, well, anything on my own journal since Lorie died. I did write up a memory for the community her friends made, but that's been about the extent of it. Anyway, if I've missed something massive in your life, I apologize. My wonderful friend, lorie945 passed away last night. She died peacefully, with her wonderful husband Rich by her side.

She battled the cancer for 3 and a 1/2 years, and as much as I will miss her, I know she is in a happier place now.

Please continue to send prayers and thoughts to her and her family. I am sure she'll hear and appreciate them.
