The economy has finally caught up to Teh Law Firm. They've fired several people in the last two days and asked several more to resign. . .including 11 attorneys.

This is, apparently, only the beginning of the lay-offs. Support staff and partners are coming shortly. Paranoia is amazingly high.

Can it be April yet??

My good friend Lorie945 has gone into hospice care. We're all still praying for full recovery, but she (and her wonderful husband) can definitely use all the extra prayers and happy thoughts you can spare.

So the COG bought a print yesterday. He is hanging it up as I type.

He is hanging it OUTSIDE. It will be the first thing you see when you hit our backdoor.

I don't know whether to be appalled or amused. . . and I am wondering if it will effect the sale of the house next door at all.

So, I saw my dad yesterday. He looked damn good for having had his entire chest rearranged the day before. I did get a bit more information from the step-mom as well, which was nice.
