So, only 2 days after the fact (I process a lot. Is that normal?), here are my thoughts on the movie Inlaws & Outlaws:
  • Go see it. Now, if it's in your area

  • Unmarried couples (straight or gay) should have documentation filed relating to their couplehood (is that a word?)

    is at the uptown, no?
(ask us about who we've been sold to this week: the amc uptown 3, at least for now...)

ditto on the 40 years ago. hell, i was explaining to a friend that half the reason pride being so commercialized pisses me off was that 15 years ago we couldn't get a bloody sponsor for pride. of course this makes me semi-old but hey. :)

my family is mormon, by and large. a lot of them are much like most of the catholics i know: good at quietly avoiding areas of Church law that they want to, though i do have trouble with the ones who are pissy as they love to tell me all about burning in hell.

Well, if it's not legal, we don't really want to do it...so we're just terminally engaged.

dang i like that term, "terminally engaged." Right on. But what about that whole recent domestic partner bill? Couldn't you register at least as domestic partners? (I'm not saying it's marriage, but...) or have you already?

Yeah, that's an option - but not for two more weeks. We're still discussing whether we're going to register.
