ok, well, today is not my birthday but the 6th was. i really had a great time. i organized a huge dinner with all of my philosophy friends and then we went drinking at the bars. i didn't have to pay for a thing all night. i was genuinely surprised, especially for dinner since we were celebrating another philosopher's birthday as well. then ( Read more... )

So... english classes are quite different from philosophy. we got to do a 20min writing exercise where i wrote a short poem. every student introduced themselves and mentioned whether they had a background in theory (it's a theory class). philosophy is only theory. so i let them know i have an extensive background in theory, but not necessarily ( Read more... )
