So, yesterday was my interview. It was actually the best agency interview I've ever had. Cos I didn't have to do any tests, I just sat down and talked to the woman (who was cool, and not that much older than me) and about 20 mins later I was on my way again. On Sunday we could hear the Big Day Out from our house. So I listened to bits of The Killers, John Butler Trio, Evermore and while Jet were playing Carrie and I left for ice cream and headed to where the BDO was being held and sat in the park next to it and listened to Muse. Job hunting becomes harder/less fun when you realise that what you have the experience to get isn't really what you want to do and what you do want to do, there aren't any jobs or you don't have the experience/qualifications/personality to get them.

I wish things could be easier

Man, apart from Monday this week has been hanging around home, unpacking and sorting stuff, watching some tv, reading and kinda like when I'm on holiday (cept the unpacking bit). But it SUCKS. I hate being unemployed. All I think about is what money there is in the bank and what bills are coming up and how long it can last. Especially when I eat. ( Read more... )

I'm down to my last week of work, it's so exciting. The damn real estate agents finally found someone to rent my unit. After I sent them an angry email saying no, I will not repaint my unit cos feedback is that ppl aren't liking the colours. That's their problem. Time off from work has been great. Don't wanna go back, but it's only about a week and a half till I'm done there so that thought keeps me going. And only a couple more weeks till I go to Melbourne!
