Still working for the man, the university, in springfield. Single again after an experiment in fatherhood that left me both thrilled and terrified for repeat performances in the future.
smoke too many cloves and drink too much goddamn coffee. Had a scare with TB last october. Lungs are clean for now, but the potential is there or at least potentially there enough that they wanted to put me on the scary meds. The kind that basically nullifies the potential, but if you miss a day it sorta ..activates it.
hair looks good. is it maroongenta? did the poppa thing? pretty crazy ride huh, the idea that this little person is almost solely dependent on you not to fuck up it's world. (if you give creedence to the 'parent's are the root' freudian shit, which i don't. not nearly in full anyway, or as much as they'd like to make us think so.) you don't have that "super TB" that i heard all about in the news. that's pretty intense. but it's good that you're good. you oughta come down and visit sometime if you get a chance. how's the rest of the fam?
The hair was dark right highlights with darker brown lowlights added in. They've mostly faded now, that was back around springbreak time.
yeah, Last january I got together with a girl that had a 3 month old. I stayed with her till the kid was 15 months old. Now she's been back in columbia since this january and is getting married in october O.o
living in the STL, got a dog, working for THE MAN at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, going to school, graduating in may, no babies, no man, not really many friends. i paint the rooms in my apartment a lot. taking shots for the MS. no money. //prettyhappy
i know it'll be like another month or two before you read but... graduating with a degree in biology, emphasis in medical technology (I'll be working in the hospital lab. I start clinicals in October). Planning on getting my master's in microbiology (someday).
i'm still feelin all right. no hospital this summer (september is just around the corner, baby!)
I don't take pictures of my dog because i'm not going to be one of those people.
of course i'm still a republican. i have MS, not alzheimer's.
...doesn't Kalil mean beautiful in Arabic? (or is that jameela?) I know it means something, but i forget. (glad I spent that 3000 on tuition for arabic classes at KU)
ooooh sweet. yer too damn smart. microbiology. so you'll be doing blood tests and checking out people's mitochondria and tiny little creatures. wait, mitochondria is dna.
that's good to hear. i was reading in Science News about a new vaccine for MS, something to do with a protein (starts with M can't remember.) they said it sounded promising.
Kalil means friend in Arabic. Rakim is Arabic/North African for respectable. and Sarad is Hindi...means born in autumn.
