Today in my Music as Social Expression Class, I learned that we've managed to figure out the pitch of a black hole. As in, that terrifying thing in space.

It's B flat. About 52 octaves below human hearing range.

I find this both beautiful and profoundly disturbing.

I think I might have an idea of what to do for my birthday.

I am going back to Northampton tonight to give my doggie a hug, cry a lot, hang out with my parents, visit Bubbie, and then turn right around and go back to Boston on Friday.

The reason I am up at 8 on a Saturday morning is because I went to bed at 1 on a Friday night. And the reason I did that is because my evening plans were completely blown to shit. It only dawned on me last night that today means that Bush is not president anymore.

Seriously, I completely forgot about that part.

My mind, it is thoroughly blown.

I saw this 2008 in Ten Words thing somewhere, so I guess I'll do it too because I can't make a coherent post right now.

Many new experiences, mostly positive ones. I should worry less.
