Well, Stephen and I have redone the apartment. A friend came and helped us move the fridge and wardrobes out into the room where we used to sleep, and we moved the bed out into the living room, with the intention of just moving it into an upright slot in the storage room when company comes. Wow! Big changes indeed! Does this mean you'll be staying in the Shi-Dae Aparta when Little Holmes joins you, or are you still in the market for a somewhat larger abode?

I'll have a bunch of things to send you guys before long. I guess the parcel I did send in November hasn't arrived yet? It only got on the boat at the beginning of December, after all. I forgot to bring my tracking info with me to F'ton so I haven't been able to check its progress since I got here.

We just got a package that was sent out first of Nov, so there isn't any need to panic yet! We are still looking for something bigger, but not banking on it.

I saw a friend's place where he had a bed that was built into a kind of cabinet. He just lifts up the foot and, when closed, it looks just like a wardrobe. Increases the amount of living space by a huge amount.

Desktops tend that way, yeah. You pay for the portability of a laptop.

Planning in advance is good! I don't do that often enough.

Yeah, what this place needs is a murphy bed - alas, it is not to be. We'll just settle for moving the bed around. We got your christmas card today - thanks for thinking of us :)
