Ten more days of needles in my ass, two more weeks of bed rest. The up side is that the smallest of Holmeses is doing well, good movement and heartbeat. I have much less bleeding showing on the ultrasound and the placenta has reattached almost all the way around. So, good news almost all around. I have been discharged! The doctor pretty much said that he would make a Korean stay in the hospital, but it seemed to stress me out so much it might be better for me to stay at home. My blood tests are better, but I am still in a danger zone. I am on strict bed rest - I am not even to take the dog out - and I have to give myself shots everyday and ( Read more... )

I am staying in a Catholic Hospital. We came here because we knew where it was mostly. When I came in to the emergency room I forgot my insurance card, and obviously I wasn't being freaky outy enough on the outside. The guy tried to stall us about my health number - I cried like a baby and yelled and he whisked us right in. Score one for hysterics ( Read more... )

Well, as many of you know, I have been living in St Carlos hospital for the last week. I had some bleeding, which has now stopped, but my blood tests indicate that I have some pretty severe swelling in my baby maker, and may have an infection. I have to stay here until it goes away. Alright, so I can officially go back to doing whatever I want (you know, as much as other podding ladies) and I don't have to go back to the doc for a month! Woo, uterus! The fetus was having a disco rave party today when we went in for the ultrasound. Twisting and turning and moving to the grovin'.
