Geez.. it's been so long since I've posted on here. Things are looking up for Darius finally. He's looking forward to starting his adult courses for college next week, hopefully. He wants to go into graphic design, and I'm happy for him. I know he's been having a tough time without a job and all. It makes it easier on Mally and I because he's been ( Read more... )

Things have been looking up for us. Darius started college on Tuesday, which he really enjoys. We're getting married (finally!!!!!)next year. Mally is doing great! He's happy, healthy, and a little terror who gets into everything! He's running a little now, and is trying to talk. He says: mama, dada, dad, mum or mum mum, dop(which is stop), baa (for bad), didit (which I'm not totally sure what it is, I'm thinking did it?) goo (which I think is good?), and no. He's getting better about hitting, but now he's started kicking. He's getting better about when we put him in time out for hitting and kicking, and actually listening to us when we say No, Mally.

How are you and little David? I'll have to put up pics on here one of these days. We got our pics taken a month ago, and one of them was our first family photo.

David is doing really well. He's running around also. It's really hard to keep him in one place because he's a runner and a climber. He likes to climb on everything and right now he's obsessed with the slides at the park - particularly the big slides which kind of freak me out having him on. It's funny because David used to say something that sounded like "did it" but he stopped saying it after a while so I don't know for sure if he was saying that or not. He used to say good also but not anymore that I have heard. He says car, dog, cat, cracker (this is the word he uses the most for some reason), water, hi, mama, dada....I can't think of what else. His current favorite word is by far "cracker". It used to be "car". David isn't a huge talker yet. He's too active to sit still long enough to do it I think. Yes, I'd love to see pictures of you guys!
