We have tutoring opportunities at the Women's Center, all women who really need it, the program is really amazing, and we teach reading, math, science, social studies, skill type things to help people get their GED's and really be able to do something....
Let me know if you want/need any more info.

oh lol, I just copied your post from a while back, and asked her if she saw it, and that she should talk to you to see if they still needed help....guess you answered that question.

did you see this....

Volunteer opportunity
Empower women to further their educational goals by volunteering as a tutor with the Expanded Horizons Literacy Program. This wonderful program provides free tutoring and classes in GED prep (reading comprehension, writing skills, social studies, science, basic math) ESL, and computers, as well as provides transportation and babysitting to women who want to pursue their learning goals. Become a volunteer tutor today!!

If anyone is interested in this, we would love to have you. The program really needs volunteer tutors right now, so pass this along to anyone you think would be interested. Contact Nicole White at 722-3000, ext. 233.

Thanks!

Beth posted it a while back. Maybe you should talk to her and see if they are still available.
