well this fucking sucks.

This fucking blows. In order to get into UVM I need to take two semesters of a language before September, which means I'm going to have to go up to GCC 3 days a week from February until May, and then 4 or 5 a week until the middle of July... or I need to find another school that I want to transfer to that doesn't have the language requirements. i'll teach you how to drive my car, and you can share with me for a little while... if that helps....
and you're always welcome to stay here for a night when you need. i have an extra bed and i am just down the street from gcc.
plus i have your cat.

Thanks.
On the plus side, since I'm gonna be home and only taking one or two classes, I'll have lots of free time, so I'll be hanging out at UMass with you a lot.

don't be pissed! it will all work out. transferring is nightmarish, and i've gone through most of what you're going through now so i know how it is. and i'm pretty sure it sounds dippy, but all of the shit you're dealing with just makes life more interesting in the long run. this kind of crap will always happen, you just have to kind of go with it and relax, because in the end, you'll get where you want to go.
but the pot does help. :)

The pot definately helps.
But yeah... I've calmed down about it and come to the conclusion that I can and will have a good time in Amherst, even if all I'm doing is taking a class or two and working. And I'll have plenty of time to go on crazy traveling adventures in future summers and after I graduate, and there's probably even time to go to Israel for a week or two before next fall. So yeah. Things will be good. Thanks for the advice.

can't you somehow take like, russian 1 and 2? or something?

I tried that first.. but GCC only offers non-credit Russian workshops, so that's out, and UMass Continuing Ed program doesn't offer any Russian, and even if I could get into a regular class they're not doing any Russian I this semester, it's all like 400 level and stuff.

So I think I'll just go with the 2 semesters of Spanish at GCC.

Dude, simmer. If you made your way out here in the first place it has to have a meaning behind it. The universe had a purpose in sending you on a half-crazy art trip long beforehand. And let's face it, good or bad, it's our experiences that shape who we are; part of who you are (or will be) is now Seattle. nyah.

And I hoped the nice and baked you got last night was good enough.

Hm. That is indeed a good thing to consider. Thank you. And I hope you don't think I consider the last few months in Seattle a mistake, cause I've definately learned a lot and changed a good amount and met some pretty fucking awesome people (like you and Jess).

And yeah... last night was definately baked enough. It was awesome.
