yeah alcohol is a stimulant in small amounts

ah the puzzle puns flow like wine during a night of puzzling

#21...I guess beating Colorado isn't deserving of a Top 20 entrance.

But our season was very close to being amazing. We lost our 4 games by a combined 14 points, two of those losses coming in OT to BC and Miami. Had we beaten BC, Miami, or Wake Forest (ouch), we would have been in the ACC Title game. Sigh...

i used to be a chess nerd in middle school. i was in the chess club, would spend my free time at the library reading chess books, kept playing until i could beat my dad and bro. but now i can never find anyone who wants to play so i'm probably really out of practice.

i don't know, to me it seems like chess is something you never really forget. as long as you are in the mood to give it your full attention, you can always find that place deep inside, the meditative spot where all moves come fluidly, and your opponents priorities are obvious...

i had a great game with evan when he was down. i think it lasted almost two hours, and the exchanges were really intense. i backed him into corners, he did the same for me. it was such a close game. i live for chess games like that!

i'd so love to play scrabble, but i dominate too hard in it. i'd be all "xi" up in that for 70 points. or qat, or jo, or all the shitty two and three letter words that you dont actually use in the language but are in the scrabble dictionary nonetheless.
