i didnt read your entry because i havent seen the movie yet and really want to. i thought it looked good from the trailers. and now your suggestion to go see it, i definitly will!

I also saw it, say it yesterday in fact... I went to it instead of class and kept thinking "this is so much more important for me today than sewing".

It really was an important film! I can't wait until it's out on dvd so I can make other people watch it haha.

absolutely... though i think seeing it in the theatre is important too.

The part that just killed me was when they were coming down the hallway in the building that is under attack, and the one woman sitting on the floor is singing to the baby while gutshot. She's poisoning her own body as she sat there, and still she sang and touched the baby's foot.

10/10 for Children Of Men, as far as I'm concerned.

Oh my god yes. That women is what set me off crying initially and then the soldiers reactions really got me going haha. Great CGI on the baby eh???

Definitely a 10/10 and I can not freaking believe it was not nominated for ANY Oscars. Those awards are useless anyways but still :(

That's complete crap. It just goes to show that the Oscars are just a big popularity contest :(
