don't give up on the country. it's just the fucking government.
it's not something to get away from, it's something to protest.

see at first i believed it was just the government but after watching - the majority of our country vote for an idiotic president for a second term who has lied and manipulated his country - its as if the people of this country do not have any respect for themselves or anyone else for that matter - and the fact that the youth will not even show up to punch a whole in a ballot - that we have become that lazy - that we would rather sit back and watch our country go down the drain - instead of going out and simply casting a vote - this government has turned this country onto the wrong side

I was feeling the same way. I felt the same way 4 years ago also, and especially last night when the numbers were coming in. At least you live in a state where people aren't so uptight. I live in Nebraska, and sometimes it makes me want to scream. Hopefully, we can all unite together and make it another 4 years without anything drastic taking place. Remember, you still have your voice even if the election is over. There are many protests to be had in the next 4 years.

Thank you Blake for giving me the chance to help out on Election Day. Without you, I would have never been able to take part in such an amazing experience, and express myself in any way as close to helping out on Election Day.
