He's gone.

I couldn't stay at my apartment and so it's gone now, empty and waiting to be sold to someone who won't feel guilt inside it.

I've instead bought a house and land in Surrey. It's an hour to reach university each day but it's a beautiful place.

My apartment just reminds me of him and I've only gone inside once since returning to England. There are too many memories there.

I know that neither of you know me very well, but I was at a loss for who else I should speak to. I am- was Alastair's girlfriend and I cared for Werner. I know that both of you have some hand in Johan's case because it's the both of you he speaks of ( Read more... )

I'm sorry that we haven't caught up for a while. I've been rather busy and now it turns out that I have to go back to the Netherlands for a short time. Perhaps only the weekend but more likely until next Friday.

I just want to warn you that my cousin, Viola, is in London. I love her, really, but she has come antiquated thoughts on werewolf/human relations. It's a Courtlandt thing. None of my family much cares for human beings.

It would probably be smart to stay out of her way if possible.

My father sent me a postcard from Switzerland. Already he's complaining that the people there aren't Dutch, but that was mostly to be expected.

I have just returned to my apartment from a weekend in Holland with my father. It was nice to be around him again. I'm not sure what to say other than that. He's looking older now and unwell.
