OMG!!!! This is so fantastic I can't even believe it. And I'm IN IT!!! How cool is that! And it's funny as hell. You just know that he gets the eyeliner home and it's all smeary and he's like, shit, maybe you really do have to pay twenty bucks for an eyeliner? And he calls Hannah, and in between gales of laughter she's all, well, sometimes you get what you pay for and I tried to tell you, tightwad! And then they go shopping all over again. Current folks I'm loving including anything written by app1e_pi (especially her "Very Good, Boyd") or sparkythehamstr (especially her current WIP where Billy is punishing Dom for saying he was unimaginative in bed). shaenie is always good, as is semaphore, who has a number of WIPS, mostly AU, that are killing me. She hasn't updated in a while, though.

And _cee's "King of New Orleans," another WIP, is just gorgeous in terms of characterization and for getting pretty much the entire fellowship in on the action. It's an AU wingfic (I know, I know), but it's wonderful. Oh, and abundantlyqueer has a great WIP going where the readers are telling her which way the story should go. It's completely cracked out, and a lot of fun.
