Because if you work by that, than nobody can do good either-it's always bad or a sin somewhere else.
Sin is a concious decision anyway, to do something *you* know is wrong. So if you have never been taught right from wrong, been completely isolated from other influences, than anything you do is amoral, because you don't know the difference.
And she never said she was without sin, she only said that Sean had sinned as well. Sin in this instance being a deep sin (like in the biblical story her reference is taken of of the adulteress) instead of every day sort of sins.
Right. In fact, the comment was meant to suggest that I, myself, have committed the sins for which I am, in essence, being stoned for.
I have little or no defense, and do not wish to enter a plea bargain. I wish solely for others to understand that none of us are without these sins - as noted, not every day sins, but truly deep sins, as in the biblical reference - and that I am not the only one who will stand at the gates and be judged.
Screw you and your 'relatively cool person' bullshit - Lensha, my Lensha, you are one of the most amazing people I know. Don't you dare belittle yourself like that. I will hunt you down and kick your ass - you don't give yourself enough credit. Fuck off - you and your 'I have little or no defese' horseshit can go straight to hell. I don't know a single person who can stand back, say they're perfect, and bust out that they're qualified to judge the rest of us. You're wonderful, sweet, caring, honest, and protective of your friends. Judge that. You deserve better than that. Don't let these shots in the dark hurt you. They can't touch you unless you let them.
