Pairing: Sam and Gene, not actually slashy -gasp!- hehe. 
Summary: Sam has one of his 'moments' and Gene doesn't like to be kept waiting.

The ballet comment had mne laughing out loud because it is such a Gene Hunt thing to say.
I could really picture Gene in this, the way he would stand and everything when he was saying it. Great characterisation, great dialogue and overall a great story.

You write a really good Hunt. Sam's good too, but it's Gene in particular whose lines sound as if they are straight from the show.

I like writing Gene and I'm pleased that I got him right! I tend to have a 'Gene voice' in my head saying the lines to see if they sound in character first before I post anything... spose the system works! lol.
