sad family news
Sorry I haven't been around in a while. My mother-in-law, who was 87 years old, passed away yesterday due to Alzheimer's disease. She was a lovely person who regarded me as a daughter, and I'll always be grateful to her for all she did for me and my family in the years she lived with us. -
A few days off, fandom edition
I've spent the past few days talking fandom and generally having a great time with my German friend hmpf, who came to visit me after attending a couple of gigs by Atoms for Peace here in Italy. Birthday happiness
So, yesterday was my 38th birthday (yes, I'm still allowed to mention how old I am, at least until I turn 40, lol) and I'm happy to say I had a really lovely time.
