Surgery is done. My surgeon said, "It was essentially like removing a baseball from something the size of a softball." Well, we do like baseball

You've just had horrible things done to your insides. With lingering problematic effects. It's totally fine to be completely done with toughing it out and being brave and just wanting to go home. (It's probably a really good idea to go ahead and take one more day off.)

My husband and M-I-L said the same thing, so I'm going to see how I feel tomorrow. As of right now, I'm home, so last night I slept in my own bed which helped. Today I've been up, took a little walk outside on the patio, took a shower, and sat up for most of the day, so I'm doing a ton better. Plus, all the Vicodin!
