I'm still in Marking Hell, and still coughing (haven't stopped since the car thing), but I'm dropping by to post because I have to say how great chapter 7 of Legion was. That show is bloody creative, isn't it? Every episode was so far, but this 7th one managed to outdo them all, breaking new grounds with some memorable scenes. A magnificent hour of

ABSOLUTELY!!! Thank you SO MUCH for turning us onto this AMAZING show!!! S1.7 was fantastic and I agree with you that "the two Davids classroom scene" was a highlight. As was Plaza's monstrous Lenny.

I loved that David was able to talk himself down and save the day. “And you’re … British?” ... I’m your rational mind.” Good stuff.

The sets are really characters in their own right. I loved how in S1.6 all the walls and doors are reminiscent of a darkened childhood bedroom with the slant of light coming in under the closed door!!!

I was sad that Oliver doesn't remember Melanie. *cries*

The show is so clever, darkly humourous, and gorgeously rendered. A hit all around!

Psst - do you think Amy has something to do with how the parasite got in?????

I have no idea. I know nothing about the comics.

But the Shadow King wanted something from Amy, he's seeking an answer. Something she saw/heard but has forgotten. Mmmm...

Aubrey Plaza is just killing it. And I suspect she'll show up again (rise from the coffin) for a little fun in the next chapter.

I haven't seen the finale yet, but I bet she is in it as she seemed to have broken out at the end of chapter 7.

It was weird to watch it after seeing Logan yesterday.

I enjoyed it - especially the idea that the villain (Clark) had his own life, his own story apart from David's, in which he had a nice family - but I think that chapter 8 was a step down after the two previous episodes.

I agree that the T-Rex ending was the best! ;- )

Finally caught up!

We're enjoying Legion a lot -there's nothing comparable around. So creative and I love the production design, the sets, the furniture, the costumes. Also, the Lenny actress is just great.
It is challenging, arty but in a good way - despite all the scary weird stuff it also managed to be light-hearted in places (Oliver, drinking cocktails spouting poetry; the coffee-maker).
