pretty much like a shot through the heart, and the stomach.

i wish i could still run.

i cannot wait
to lay outside in such insufferable heat
as i bronze my skin to a healthy glow
and thoroughly enjoy
the cool breeze that dances around my shoulders
gliding over my neck
and whisping past my ears
relieving me for a moment
from time to time
making the relaxing afternoon
that much better.
