You know, I have a lot of conservative friends on FaceBook, and that is generally ok. One thing I noticed a while back is that there is this theme among them that they need to take back America, and take it back to a time which based on the ages of some of them I can only assume is 1980-ish. What I don't understand is why? Unless they are hoping

i like this entry, it's funny and sarcastic. i wish i also had tons of money and no brains cos then i would also be oblivious to all the shit going down in this country and cry that illegal immigrants are taking away that job i really wanted at McDOnald's!

Picking fruit? Sounds like fun, for about an hour, until I get enough apples, or whatever I wanted. Beyond that, I hate to say it, but I'm more than happy to let those folks have those jobs. From my understanding (possibly very wrong, I'm the white guy from the middle of the country) most of the jobs that illegals end up doing are jobs that we don't want to do.

I don't know what kind of illegal immigrant population we have here. Seems like a long way to go. There are certainly immigrants here, Hispanic(I've met people from Mexico, Guatamala, Panama, Nicuragua), Eastern European(mostly Serbian and Croatian, and refered to collectively as Bosnian), and Asian(mostly Vietnamese I think.)

i've always said, Mexicans do the jobs that white people are too lazy to want to do! cos it's all about the white collar, smooth hands, behind a desk work. you're practically Latino Chris for working in a kitchen!
