There was a creature,

Who lived in a forest,

And wanted nothing more,

Than to be surrounded,

By her favorite flower.

Try as she might,

She never did catch sight,

Of the elusive plant.

So she took it upon herself,

Being the resourceful type,

And painted herself head to toe.

Covered in Lilacs,

 Standing alone in a field,
On a breezy autumn day,

Purple Cow-Moose looked around…

In glee at nature’s display.

Enraptured with the beauty,

Of New Hampshire’s Foliage,

He could never imagine,

(As hard as he tried)
A more perfect scenic stage.

When all the colors
In the world collide,
An endless spectrum- 
Blurring single lines,
Mid truth and fancy.

Would they become dull...
Would they freely shine?
Or just fade away?

A boundless palette
Of vast potential,
Imagination...
Foolhardy in thought-

May never truly know.

Coming into yourself,
Time to seize the reigns...
Heeding the negative,
Will only bring shame.
Keep your chin held up high,
Focus on your route,
Before long you will feel,
Pride triumph over doubt.

Flecks of humanity,
Shard the gentleness,
Of the peaceful day.

Lack of rules,
To the Inherent Being,
The presupposition,
Playing my vigor.
As Life flows away.

Why should I accept this,
Quick assault...
And leave MY fate to their choice?

The only dream,
I recall worth having,
Rapid Images,
Of the repressed girl,
Who found her voice
