Around 2001 or so I had a website that was essentially full of bad teenage poetry, and reflections on music. The best feature, though, was the message board and chat room which a small group of my highschool friends and some strangers who happened upon the site would meet and discuss music and such. So I was painting today when I got a phone call from Sean at Daytrotter telling me a piece I drew was on the front page of Pitchfork. It's moved down the list now, but here's the link.

I've been drawing cartoons for the paper again but they haven't run 3 out of 5 of them and I was starting to wonder why. Today I got this email:
