Well uh, I graduated...again! This time I got a Masters of Engineering degree (ChE) from Cornell. Decided I'd buy a ring since I didn't get one from TAMS or UT when I got out from them. Last weekend was Fall break (which is an awesome concept btw). This weekend is just a normal one, but I'm going to take a trip to NYC to visit Shrews and maybe Shona. Comic-con and New York Anime Fest are both going on this weekend, however, I haven't bought tickets and Saturday passes are sold out, so I doubt I'll be going. After about 2 weeks of class and clubs and things, I think I'm near settled in. The only thing that's left is how my research work in the Ober group (did I mention I'm in that now? :D) will proceed. I don't have a project nailed down just yet, since it'll depend on another member of the group and what needs to get done, but hopefully I'll be able ( Read more... )

So, now that I'm getting accustomed to Ithaca, I've been looking for a group of people to hang out with. Luckily, it doesn't take very much more than being outgoing around here to do so.
