The week has really flown by and I have no idea what I've done with my time. Well I lie... I recently had internet installed in my apartment and I've been watching movies on Netflix and anime on Crunchyroll. I finally got to see Kuroko No Basuke which I had been watching when it first started being released but hadn't had the time to finish it. I

What's your thoughts on using spotify?

I just personally don't like to use spotify I much prefer Pandora or Slacker for my music listening experience. However, I do feel that Spotify isn't a indie friendly service and I don't particularly agree with that. The purpose of having a service like that is open people up to new music but if you aren't compensating artists for their work than fuck off, you know? I don't know how much better or worse Pandora or Slacker are but that's what I use. Youtube and Pandora tend to be the places where I find a lot of the music I listen too. What about yourself??

I tend to use spotify a bit. I've discovered a fairly decent swaithe of new bands there. I'm aware that the compensation model isn't that great with Spotify though so I'm kinda torn. I particularly like what the singer from Lower Dens had to say about how low cost streaming outfits and downloading cheapen one's relationship to music and to a point I'd agree. But I also enjoy the benefits of having my ears opened to music I otherwise might not have discovered.
The other thing I like about Spotify is being able to listen to music on my phone at work:)
I try to balance it out by purchasing stuff I like when I can find it.
Bumped into some great stuff on it though.

That's the thing though I come across these things I want to write about but my laziness or LJ don't allow me to do it lol. ^_^ I do want to get into the habit of writing things down when they come to mind.
