i just bought the book "vegan planet" by robin robertson, and really wanted to make a dessert...so i made the chocolate chip cookies. they are so yummy, gooey, and amazing, that i wanted to share the recipe with all of you

brown sugar isn't really vegan, because it's refined and just has the molasses put back into it. i know there's a vegan alternative, but i can't remember what it's called.

well...the recipe was copied word for word out of the cookbook, "VEGAN planet". if what you are saying is true, then perhaps your claim should be made to the publisher, since advocating the use of brown sugar in a vegan cookbook would technically be false advertising? no brown sugar alternative was listed.
