Sorry bb, my battery died so I couldn't get over here sooner. I'm doing a bit of catch-up now but yes, cross-overs are definitely welcome. Any genre, setting, anything your writer brain comes up with is perfectly acceptable.

lol It's no big deal--I was afraid it was listed somewhere in the answers already ;)

And can we do more than one story?

Ok, slightly convoluted question, here:

I understand that authors need to supply a summary of their planned fic so that artists can choose which fic they want to work with. However, since the stories aren't due until mid-August, I was wondering if it would be possible to sign up to write a post-season 2 fic. I'd try to specify as much as possible about the type of fic I want to write (like genre, rating, theme, and characters/pairings), but, obviously, the specifics wouldn't be available until after the sign-up deadline. Also, there is always the possibility that whatever happens in the rest of the season would affect the feasibility of what I want to write.

So, would this be ok? If so, what kind of information would you absolutely require at sign-up? It's cool if you'd rather just keep things simple and not allow stuff like this, but I figured I'd ask.

The sign ups are to show how many people will be writing a fic and to see how many artists we need to pair them with. If you want to write a fic for Fringe Big Bang you need to sign up and the same goes for the artists: if they want to create art then they need to sign up too.

Having said that, you can still write a post-season fic, but you need to have signed up sometime in April. The season, according to Wiki, ends on May 20th so I understand that gives you less days to complete your fic than everyone else, but it wouldn't be fair to change the dates for one entry.

As for the sigh up information, the questionnaire will be asking about the type of fanfic you will be writing as to give the artists something to go on when they're matched with a story. For example, they'll include questions on genre, cross-over, AU, etc BUT you can always change your mind. They're not locked in stone.

I hope that helps.
