Spent every freee minute of the last two days working on the Pennsic house. I am *VERY* pleased with what I've accomplished this weekend. :-D Had some help with a co-worker on Saturday, and a bit of a hand from my dad today, but on the whole it was all me. I'm horribly jealous. It looks even more amazing than the shower house, and I LOVE the shower house!

Heh... I think I'm burned out on house-building for a while. I will happily provide all the advice you want. :-D I can't say that any of it will be good.

Explain to me the prep-the roof part?
Why not do it ahead of time?

Ah. Well, you see PA State Law says that trailers can be a MAXIMUM of 8' 6" wide without having a special permit. The "body" of the house is 8', but the roof will extend 12" to either side, putting me over the limit. So, I'm going to have all the rafters and sheathing pre-cut, labeled and prepped so that all I have to do when I get it out there is drop everything in place and nail it fast.

That's the theory anyway. :-D
