There is a squirrel who hides nuts at the base of a plant directly outside my window. He doesn't know I am watching him and feeding this information to the birds.

What motivates a man to betray the squirrels?

I have bats. There's one that enjoys visiting my porch every night, crunching on whatever he can find in the rafters. I have named him "Theodore".

I am also situated immediately behind a garter snake hibernaculum. When the weather warms up, they swarm out en masse and devour everything in sight. The neighborhood cats go berserk.
