*She returns home just after dark, a bit nervous about her brother's possible reaction to her lateness--she had stayed out a little longer than she had meant to, and she hated the thought of making him worry*

*calls out as she enters the smial* Frodo? It's Elly.. I'm home--I'm so sorry for making you wait..

*Frodo is in the kitchen, finishing up making a rather nice dinner. He smiles brightly when he hears her, checks all the things in the kitchen and hurries to greet her* Welcome home, Elly! The lateness is alright. I'm just glad you're safe. I was starting to worry. You shouldn't be out and about so much, in your condition, Maia or not. *but his voice is light and he is smiling, so it is obvious he is not really upset*

*grins* Yes, Daaad.

*kisses his cheek as she walks by, as if it's the most natural thing in the world for her to do* Oh, whatever you're cooking smells absolutely sinful. *goes to peek in the pots*

*he smiles brightly at her teasing and follows her into the kitchen, to keep her from ruining what's on the stove* Careful, careful, it's almost ready! Go sit down at the table, and I'll bring you some! *he says playfully and ushers her back out* Tell me about your day while I finish up, mmm? *he calls, hopefully*

I'm so happy that you are with Elanor now. I couldn't think of a better person to help her in her time of need. To be honest, I just really don't know what to say right now. I'm open to coming there if Elanor wants me to, otherwise my doors are always open. I just really hope I can see you face to face soon.

I will keep you posted. Right now, I think there are things I need to discuss first with Elly, but you are never far from my thoughts. I think I'm as torn on all of this as you are. Perhaps more so. I want to see you soon, but the occasion to ask Elly about you coming up hasn't presented itself yet. Part of me isn't sure that it would be wisest to have myself, her, you and possibly Gil-Galad in one place at one time, but perhaps I am taking the pessimists approach to all things. Still, it's very nice to hear from you. I'm sorry I can't offer a better return to you. I thought I had all things sorted out, and of course, nothing is the way I thought it would be. I look forward to your letters daily, though. Please keep in touch.
