I did this last year and thought I'd see what has changed this year.
My 2008 Year In Review Where did you begin 2009?
At midnight, I was with David, but he had already fallen asleep. He couldn't stay awake :P
We went to the Hard Rock Cafe for a late lunch on the 1st.
What was your status by Valentine's Day?
Still dating David
Were you in school (anytime this year)?
No.
Did you have to go to the hospital?
No, but I took mom to the hospital once when some medication made her sick.
Did you have any encounters with the police?
Just this past Sunday I was pulled over for having a tail light out. I live on the edge!
Where did you go on vacation?
Las Vegas, Detroit, Atlanta
What did you purchase that was over $500?
A newer car in May.
Did you know anybody who got married?
I think a few people I know online, but I didn't go to any weddings.
Did you know anybody who passed away?
No one very close to me, but there have been a few friends of the family who passed away this year.
What sporting events did you attend?
David and I saw the Nashville Rollergirls a few times this year. It's the one sport that I actually enjoy watching and can get into.

Mt. Juliet

Spent with friends and family.
What's the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2009?
I finally went out of the country on a quick day trip to Windsor, Canada when I was in Detroit in November.

Going on vacations with David.
Low key weekends just relaxing.

I rarely drink.

Through my Bunco group, as well as met several of David's friends.

Much less drama and lots more peace this year than in years past.

No, 2008 had enough for ahwile.

Still letting it grow out.

No. Thank God for no lay offs.

Do you have a New Year's resolutions?
I really don't do these, but I do need to get healthier this year. It's been a work in progress this year.
Did anything embarrassing?
Nothing so embarrassing that I am recalling it now.

Nope

No, the tail light outage didn't land me in jail.
Be honest - did you watch American Idol?
Again, not this year.
Start a new hobby?
I took on sewing, quilting and basket making. I can also now crochet better than previous years attempts, but it's still very basic.

HAHA! WHERE?!?!? (Same answer as last year!)
Are you happy to see 2009 go?
I'm always ready for a new year, but this year hasn't been bad.
Drank Starbucks in 2009?
A few times.

What are you wishing for in 2009?
Better health, paying down more debt, continued peace and happiness.
This part was harder to do since I don't blog on a regular basis anymore. Luckily I take a lot of pictures now and upload them to Flickr.
January - Started my first quilt. Got new glasses and actually started wearing them everyday!
February - Joined a Bunco group and reconnected with girls I grew up with and made new friends through the group. Saw my first rollergirls event.
March - Completed my first quilt, a baby blanket for a friend.
April - Volunteered with the Special Olympics. Went to Las Vegas for the first time and saw lots of things, including Blue Man Group and Hoover Dam.
May - Became a Big Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters.
June - Met up with my A Phi O brothers at Warner Park after not seeing some for over 10 years.
July - Matthew left for Iraq. Visited David's family and friends in Detroit. Spent a day at Cedar Point.
August - Went on a Quilting Retreat weekend with the MRS'.
September - Attended Dragon*Con in Atlanta and wore the Professor Sprout (from Harry Potter) costume that I made. Saw Wicked at TPAC. Participated in the JDRF Walk.
October - Weaved my first basket.
November - Spent Thanksgiving with David's family in Detroit. My first trip out of the country to Canada.
December - Saw Star Wars in Concert at Gaylord.
