I went to the Massive Attack concert on Friday evening in Antwerp. It wasn't as good as I expected it to be, but I discovered the magnificent Martina Topley-Bird, who sings in some of their songs. I'm completely hooked:

Frustrations (rant).
Off the top of my head, there are three things I absolutely, unquestionably, really hate3) People who go travelling abroad and have nothing but negative things to say about the country they visited. There are days I do not want to discover new bands and music. Sometimes I like listening to the stuff I've been listening to for years. In repeat, even. But today is not one of those days, I'm in need of new things. I bought Deer Tick's Born On Flag Day album the other day and I think it's fucking amazing. Especially that one song called "Friday XIII". All I could find on Youtube is this live acoustic version. Too bad her mike is not as loud as his, but whatever, it's still great and I want to see them live one day:
