Pre-cruise trepidation...
Work yesterday was pretty dreadful. I had to cover Aja's job and mine; work-flow was at a higher volume than usual; we're testing a new system and had to have two meetings about it and one of my coworkers had to get taken to the Emergency Room because her nose wouldn't stop bleeding. December Binge and January Purge...
I always leave December with great ambitions. I'm going to lose weight. I'm going to get a better paying, more awesome job. I'm going to write the new Great American novel. You make it hard.
I don't know why it surprises me anymore, but it does. And I don't know why, after everything, it still hurts, but it does. I keep saying I'm over it, but I'm obviously not.
I know I'd be a lot happier and healthier if I could just let it go, so why can't I? -
Christmas Time is Here...
I've been around; I swear it. Sometimes, I just don't have the words and I worry about trying to say something and failing, so I don't say anything at all.
