My FirstLine Summer Experience

***Warning--This Post Is Exceedingly Long***

I want to clarify, I think I'm passed the bitter stage, I've even stopped entertaining ideas of revenge--my story is purely for the benefit of those people who are considering working for FirstLine, and are smart enough to research it first (sadly, I was not).

I was handed a flier in the cafeteria at ASU ( Read more... )

Tyler,
I'm not sure if you remember me. I got relocated to Pittsburgh from Fresno. I wrote a very similar blog-post myself...then happened to stumble onto this one.

Is Mr. Head a short guy (who shall remain nameless)? And, is Fred a large guy with a sibling that doesn't resemble him at all?

Other than that...kudos for posting this. What's funny to me is how many people are still stuck on the firstline bandwagon and act like retards defending it as a "great, ethical, morally driven company." I want to vomit when I read that stuff.

Anyway, good to see a familiar name and read a familiar story.

Hey there Tyler,

I came across your post on google while looking up more dirt on Firstline. I worked for them 2 years... the first summer in Spokane, WA where I actually had a good experience (made some money, didn't work too hard, it was pretty decent). BUT then I was hired as a DM, and they proceeded to change everything this summer. I am sorry to see you had a bad experience, as did I and everyone in my office. I tried to do everything according to "the book" but their book was rotten and the office fell apart.

Anyhow, here's some info for you: Firstline's head guys (Trevor Keyes and Wright Thurston) have shrunk off with tons of debt... refusing to pay all the division guys, all the employees, and pretty much everyone else. Looks like the company won't be existing anymore. Just thought you'd like to know that!

If you ever want to ask me any questions... my email is jnieuwsma@vandals.uidaho.edu

Hey Tyler --

Want your story told on TV -- for real? I'm looking for anyone who worked the summer with Firstline to tell us about their experience.
