i remember us drinking on the beach and us falling asleep in the car later on that night only for an MP to catch us and escort us off base.. heh, it was so funny that he didn't realize i was intoxicated.

I wish I could have memories like that to look back on. I wish I could do certain things in the past or even in the present. I would love to reach out to something anything really. That would keep my mind off of the anger and pain inside. I've been doing so well, but like that tree in the picture you think the feeling is dead and it's over. Yet it pulls you back into what you don't want to feel or become. I don't know..

doesn't your music keep you focused? i always wondered why you had so much pain and anger inside.. you're doing well in life now. you are a strong and determined person, ian. i don't know anyone who's as dedicated as you.

i think so. if not, my bestfriend did. we got drunk at the beach and just started taking pictures of everything.. i especially liked this picture, even tho it doesn't really look like it's taken in hawaii.
