Where did November go? I swear I put it around here somewhere. *looks under wrapping paper and mismatched bows* Heck. I know it was just here somewhere. It's good to hear from you. Yay for the bonus! I've never gotten one and I wonder what it would be like, but I've not been a steady employee at anyplace that does that sort of thing.

As for schooling, I don't know, I'm split. It can be good for socialization, but, like you said, they don't teach anything. I think, being that she can read and write and do addition and subtraction, that she will be horribly bored in kindergarten.

I think the public school experience varies from child to child and district to district. Research where she would be going and the sorts of reactions from teachers parents and students. Home schooling allows acceleration, but also seems to shelter kids and cause problems later on. Kids need to be with other kids to develop social skills. I went to public school but begged my whole life for home schooling due to bullying and the like. This isn't to say that all kids have that sort of experience, though. It's a chance you take, but there were a lot of good lessons I learned in public school I wouldn't have learned at home.
