Leaving tomorrow for training in the states, won't be back till last few days of May.

Been taking Combat Lifesaver Class this week, mostly teaches how to control shock and how to handle different wounds. Also requires that each student successfully stick someone with an IV. Back from Stryker training in Anchorage. Spent most of January learning how to work the new equipment. On the 28th we were sending vary large projectiles about 2 miles downrange so we'd be qualified on our new weapon system. Most of the time we're in the field we end up playing spades if we're not driving around trying to look busy. Of course we always have to improvise a playing surface of some sort, here's a pic of our most recent one.

Leaving tomorrow for Stryker training in Anchorage, I'll be down there until early December. Probably won't have much, if any, access to a computer. Coming back for Thanksgiving weekend though. Learning to drive a 20-ton vehicle should be an interesting experience.

Started a monstrous campaign this weekend, playing a group of mercenaries working for a drow. I'm a troll who's pretty much the gargoyle's keeper as well.

The temperature's been dropping lately, since last week it's been at or below freezing. It's finally dropping some snow on us that'll probably stay around until everything melts. First day of winter isn't for another 2 months.
